Val
Reith is the founder and owner of C.I.A. She has been training
obedience for over 30 years, taking several dogs to Utility, the highest
obedience title. Val currently trains 4 Golden Retrievers but has titled
Miniature Schnauzers, Dobermans, Labradors, Shelties and Golden Retrievers
in Canada and the United States. Her Goldens have starred in national
and international movies and commercials. Two of her dogs are pet therapy
dogs. Governor General Michaelle Jean invested Val into The Most Venerable
Order of the Hospital St. John of Jerusalem for her work with the pet
therapy program. Val is also a certified Rally Obedience Judge with
the Canadian Kennel Club as well as the Manitoba Representative for
Rally Obedience.
Tracy Barker has been training with
Val for over 25 years. She started in Obedience with Collies and
reached the highest obedience title, Utility, with them. Tracy switched
to a Doberman after the collies and is currently busy training him.
Other breeds Tracy has trained are a Cocker Spaniel and a Boston
Terrier. Tracy is also training and competing in Rally Obedience. |
